Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of this website, operated by Northern Star Freight Solutions, registered in Belgium under number 1121131839, Raveschoot 22, 9080 Lochristi, Belgium. By using the site, you accept these terms.

What these terms cover

This page sets out the rules for using the Northern Star Freight Solutions website. It covers the site itself: the service information you can read here, the enquiry channel you can use to reach our freight forwarding and customs clearance team, and the limits of what this website promises. It does not replace the written agreement behind any shipment, booking or customs instruction we handle for you.

Read it together with our privacy policy, which explains what we do with the details you send us, and our cookie policy, which explains the small files this site stores in your browser.

Use of the site

In short

You may use this site to learn about our services and to submit enquiries. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or use it in a way that interferes with its operation or with other users.

The site is a reference for Belgian importers and exporters: an overview of the freight forwarding, customs clearance and multimodal transport work we do from Antwerp-Bruges, Brussels Airport, Liège and our base in Lochristi, plus a route to ask us about a specific movement.

What we expect from visitors is straightforward. Do not try to break, overload or probe the site, do not scrape it in bulk, and do not use it to send unsolicited commercial messages. If you spot a fault, a broken link or content that looks out of date, tell us through the contact page and we will look at it.

  • Read service and gateway information freely, without registering.
  • Send an enquiry about a shipment, a customs file or a transport route.
  • Leave the site's content, structure and enquiry channel as you found them.

Information on the site

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current. It is provided for general information and does not constitute a binding offer. Service terms, quotes and obligations are agreed separately in writing for each engagement.

In practice that means descriptions of freight forwarding, customs clearance or transport modes are orientation, not a promise about your specific file. Transit routing, customs treatment, handling requirements and costs depend on the goods, the paperwork and the gateway involved, and they are confirmed case by case before anything moves.

Enquiries and quotes

Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. A contract arises only when a quote is accepted and confirmed in writing. Prices, schedules and availability are subject to change until confirmed.

What we need from you

Goods description, weights and dimensions, loading and delivery addresses, the required date, and any customs paperwork already in hand. The more complete the enquiry, the fewer round trips before we can quote.

Written agreements come first

This website explains our work. It does not book, price or clear anything on its own.

Every shipment, customs entry and transport leg we handle runs on the instructions and terms agreed in writing between us and the client. When the two ever differ, the signed engagement governs, not the page you are reading.

Intellectual property

The content, text and branding on this site belong to Northern Star Freight Solutions or are used with permission. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without prior written consent.

That covers the written descriptions of our services and gateways, the site's layout and structure, and the names and marks we trade under. Quoting a short passage with a link back to this site is fine; copying pages into another site, brochure or database is not.

Liability

We take care to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not accept liability for losses arising from reliance on general site content or from interruptions to availability. Liability for services is governed by the applicable terms of each engagement.

If a page here is unavailable or a detail looks wrong, that does not change the terms of any shipment already agreed with us. Where our transport or customs work is concerned, the liability position is the one written into that engagement, including any carrier or convention terms that apply to the movement.

External links

Where this site links to third-party websites, we are not responsible for their content or practices. Following such links is at your own discretion. Customs authorities, port operators and carriers each publish their own rules, and those rules are theirs, not ours.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute about the use of this website is subject to the competent Belgian courts, without affecting the dispute-resolution route set out in a signed engagement.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page when our site or our legal details change. The version published here at the time of your visit is the one that applies, so check back if you rely on a specific point.

Questions about these terms

For anything on this page — a clause you want explained, a request to reuse our content, or a correction — reach us directly. We answer from Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.

Where to go next

If your question is about a shipment, a customs file or a route rather than this page, the contact page is the right place to start — it carries the enquiry channel our team works from.
